    重力铸造是指金属液在地球重力作用下注入铸型的工艺,也称浇铸。广义的重力铸造包括砂型浇铸、金属型浇铸、熔模铸造、消失模铸造,泥模铸造等;窄义的重力铸造专指金属型浇铸。其金属液一般采用手工倒入浇口,依靠金属液自重充满型腔、排气、冷却、开模得到产品。其工艺流程为:熔炼、浇料充型、排气、冷却、开模、热处理、金加工。
    Gravity casting refers to the process of pouring the metal liquid into the mold under the earth's gravity, also called casting. The generalized gravity casting include sand casting, metal mold casting, investment casting, die casting, mud casting; metal type casting refers to narrow gravity casting. The metal liquid is usually poured into the gate by hand, and the product is obtained by filling the cavity, exhaust, cooling, and mould by the self weight of metal liquid. Its process flow is: melting, pouring material filling, exhaust, cooling, mold opening, heat treatment and gold processing.

    压力铸造分为高压铸造和低压铸造两种。
    Pressure casting is divided into two kinds: high pressure casting and low pressure casting.
     
    高压铸造是一种将熔融合金液倒入压室内,以高速充填钢制模具的型腔,并使合金液在压力下凝固而形成铸件的铸造方法。高压压铸区别于其它铸造方法的主要特点是高压和高速。①金属液是在压力下填充型腔的,并在更高的压力下结晶凝固,常见的压力为15—100MPa。②金属液以高速充填型腔,通常在10—50米/秒,有的还可超过80米/秒,(通过内浇口导入型腔的线速度—内浇口速度),因此金属液的充型时间极短,约0.01—0.2秒(须视铸件的大小而不同)内即可填满型腔。
    High pressure casting is a casting method of pouring molten alloy liquid into the pressure chamber to fill the cavity of the steel mold at high speed and solidify the alloy liquid under pressure. High pressure and high speed are the main characteristics of high pressure die casting which are different from other casting methods. (1) the metal liquid is filled with the cavity under pressure and crystallizes and solidifies under higher pressure. The common pressure is 15 - 100MPa.     低压铸造的工艺过程为:在密封的坩埚(或密封罐)中,通入干燥的压缩空气,金属液在气体压力的作用下,沿升液管进入直浇道上升,通过内浇道平稳地进入型腔,并保持坩埚内液面上的气体压力。直到铸件完全凝固为止。然后解除液面上的气体压力,使升液管中未凝固的金属液流回坩埚。再开型并取出铸件。
    The process of low pressure casting is: in the sealed crucible (or sealed tank), pass into the dry compressed air, liquid metal under the effect of gas pressure rise along the riser tube into the sprue, through the ingate smoothly into the cavity, and keep the gas pressure on the surface of the crucible. Until the casting is completely solidified. Then the gas pressure on the liquid surface is removed and the unsolidified metal liquid in the pipe is flowing back to the crucible. Reopen the type and remove the castings.
